Beauty in Death - 241/365

Beauty in death, the lodgepole pines found in the lower geyser basin were stunning.  After a long day of driving, we managed to stop at the fountain paint pot nature trail at dusk.  The colours around the trees were absolutely stunning and the stark beauty of the trees were poetic.  These trees drowned when the neighbouring hot springs shifted.

This labour day long weekend was spent exploring Yellowstone National Park.  Though tiring and often stormy, each moment was blissful.  Breathtaking scenery and the perfect travel partner made the weekend exquisit.
