East Village View - 174/365

A lunch time wander brought me to the East Village.  All of the East Village is under construction in an attempt to revitalize the area.  It is going to look great.  The only problem is this is the area where the homeless has always hung out.  A face lift with very expensive condos will not change this and will not end homelessness.  Two worlds are already colliding.  While I was shooting this image there was a man strung out on something sitting behind me under a tree.  I did not turn around and shoot behind me, however, he appeared to think that I was taking his picture.  Yes, second confrontation in two weeks from a spaced out addict.  Like the last one, I assured him that I had no desire to have a picture of him.
