City Lights - 7/365

Onxy, one of my dogs, had to have x-rays this afternoon.  As a result, I had to work through lunch to leave early.  To make sure I managed to get my picture of the day, I shot my image through the office window as soon as I arrived to work.  Since I decided to do this on the spur of the moment, I was not equipped with my tripod so I had to hand hold a long exposure.  To minimize reflections and stabilize the camera, I pushed the lens right up against the glass of the window.  It took a few attempts before I had a stable shot.  Unfortunately, the window was pretty filthy so I needed to keep my processing dark, when I lightened or brightened, I could see how dirty the window truly was!

I processed this image in Silver Efex Pro and removed a couple of easy to see dirt spots in LightRoom.
